Coach Eric Tice

Coach Eric Tice

Head Coach Peoria North Developmental

Coach Tice started playing pickleball in early 2022, with his mother in law. He quickly fell in love with the game and began playing 3-4x per week and hasn’t looked back.
Coach Tice brings a wealth of coaching experience to Monster Athlete Juniors – specifically from soccer. He played soccer in college, captaining his team as the starting goalkeeper at Cazenovia College, in upstate New York.
During his time at Cazenovia, he knew he wanted to become a coach, so he earned his E coaching license from US Soccer and then earned his D license, while still in college. He also holds several goalkeeper coaching licenses.
Coach Tice moved to the Phoenix area in 2009 and served as the Grad Assistant Soccer Coach for the men’s soccer team at Grand Canyon University. Since then, he has held the positions of Director of Goalkeeping for the AZ Olympic Development Program (2010-2016) and Director of Goalkeeping for RSL AZ – North (2022-present).
In December of 2023, Coach Tice earned his Associate Coach title with the PPR enabling him to coach pickleball. He really enjoys coaching people and teaching them the game at their level.
Additionally, Coach Tice is so engulfed in pickleball that he is the pro and collegiate writer for the popular pickleball media outlet, “The Dink”.
